The Wolf Howl
Week of 4/8/16
One to One is Coming!
- Each student will receive a Dell Latitude 3150
- Laptop is 11 inches and weighs about 3 pounds
- Student computers will be distributed on Wed, 9/7
- Students will pay a $50 fee to take the computer home - $35 for free and reduced lunch. This fee will be paid only one time in students' middle school career.
- School fundraiser will be a computer protective sleeve
- We will participate in on-going professional development to fully utilize these devices.
- We will have several parent informational meetings prior to distribution.
Janie Stach will be visiting our PLCs in the near future, so bring your questions and your comments to these PLC's!

Remember that we can neither advocate for or oppose the bond as district employees, but can express our opinions when we are off campus and clearly in the role as a parent or community member.

Wolf Howls
Barbara sends a THANKFUL wolf howl to Johanna R. and Leah S. for stepping in when her son was ill.
7th Grade teachers give a howl to Jaime Leroy for a wonderful lesson on reading strategies.
Beverly sends a very happy Howl to Oscar for trying over and over and over to get her projector working! It's better than ever!!!
Brook gives a Super loud shout out to Leah Stephens for watching her 6th period while she was out for the 8th track meet! She's very appreciative.
Raquel sends A joyful HOWL to Ms. Lemmon for adapting her lessons to the needs of students!
Barbara S. howls at her podmates, Dave A., Pat B., and Robin Y. for always being there in times of joy and challenge.
Kate gives Jamie LeRoy LOUD howls for coming during school, before school and after school to help edit the yearbook!!
Sherri howls for Elizabeth Pauley, Barbara Swartz, and Robin Young for taking in extra students in their Wolf Times to help out social studies and science enrichment as they prepare for their STAAR tests!
Kate howls for Brooke Teeter for sitting down with the yearbook girls and helping them edit their pages and helping them with their layout!
Raquel sends an Appreciative HOWL to Language Arts and History teams for supporting the GT testing changes.
Barbara S. howls at Raquel M. for being consistently supportive and understanding.
Kate gives Wolf Howls to everyone that was so patient with the kids on their pages for the yearbook and helping them! Thank you!
Popp is Howling out for "our fabulous librarian" Jaime L. She am inspired by her enthusiasm when it comes to reading. Thanks for pushing her outside her box when it comes to genre selections!
Sherri gives howls to Dave Arena, Pat Brolan, Janis Davis, and Renee Stancliffe for all of their hard work in planning lessons and making their time count (they were very gracious and supportive throughout the math and reading RtI and enrichment time).
Patty gives a Howl for Oscar for responding quickly to her last minute emails and making her tech troubles go away!
Tabetha sends out a Wolf Howl to Bridget! She has helped her and the coaches so much! We love how willing Bridget is to help and gets stuff done so fast!
