Verifying Student Online Engagement
Please review this flyer for resources on how to monitor the progress of your student in online applications, verify that your student has completed the tasks assigned by their teacher(s) and is complying with CCDS Responsible Use Guidelines for technology.
Focus Parent Portal
Focus is our Student Information System that includes attendance, assessment, communication, discipline, gradebook, and progress monitoring information. Administrators, teachers, and students have Focus accounts that are automatically generated by the School District of Clay County. Parents must register for an account. Please click the button below for more information about how to register for a Focus Parent Portal Account or call the school for more information.
*Normally parents/guardians would need to go to the school to verify their identity to have their account activated. During school closures, parents/guardians can verify their identity digitally. Please call the school for additional information.
Google Classroom
When a guardian accepts an invitation from a teacher, they get regular emails about their student’s work and classes. These emails, known as guardian email summaries, include information about missing work, upcoming work, and class activity. Your student’s teacher or the school administrator sends you the email invitation. After you accept the invitation, you get regular email summaries of your student’s work.

Achieve3000
Achieve3000 Home Edition helps you stay closely involved with your child's in-school progress and helps you support your child's literacy work at home. To sign up for your account, please ask your child's teacher to email you the Home Edition setup instructions. Your child's teacher can access this letter from the Achieve3000 Teacher's Edition and send it in an email to you.
You can then log in to your Home Edition account to preview the same articles that your children are reading in school! Review each component of the 5-Step Literacy Routine so that you can extend the classroom learning into your home. And, if you have more than one child using Achieve3000 in school, you can easily preview the specific content that is assigned to each child, in their assigned language and reading level.
You'll receive a weekly Reports email to help you track your child's progress. Just click on the report titles in the email to learn how your child is performing on Achieve3000. And, if you have more than one child using Achieve3000 in school, you can access reports for all children in the same report!
