No Birthday/Celebration Treats in School
We know you want to celebrate special days such as birthdays with your child's class, however, our handbook states this is not allowed at Brentwood. Please refrain from sending any classroom treats in to school. This is NOT a new policy. We will continue to offer special days throughout the year where our teachers and PTO plan fun activities for our students (during school hours as well as outside of school hours).
Thank you for your assistance as we continue to enforce the rules set forth in our handbook.
1st Grade STEM Teepees
Mrs. Boyer's 1sr Grade class had a Teepee Construction Challenge today and the children loved it! After discussing teepees, she gave each team sticks, play doh, rubber bands and a coffee filter. They had to be the architect and figure out how to make a teepee as a team! They then shared our creations and discussed possible ways to improve our construction! It was amazing!

Our PTO Needs YOUR Help!!!
We are looking for a dozen or so parents to help on several committees for this year in a variety of capacities. Please email brentwoodpto2016@gmail.com if you are interested.
Staff Appreciation Committee - arrange items for the event and help set up/ clean up for their events during the year typically 3-4 events during the year.
Carnival Committee (Mar 4th) - this committee will be working together to divide and conquer the list of things that need to happen to make the carnival a success. We will have a separate meeting with this group to get the ball rolling in November. Most of the time is spent prior to carnival and maybe 1-2 hours setting up and cleaning up prior.
