Steps for Enrollment
Get Ready for the 20-21 School Year
Have you...
- Signed your online Enroll App in Brightways?
- New students - Completed the Language Survey in Brightways?
- Filled out the enrollment forms packet for 20-21?
- Met with your advisory teacher to build your ILPs?
- Submitted purchase order requests for items you want Raven to order for you?
Reminder: Student funding becomes available starting July 1 for processing orders and reimbursements once a student has been activated for the 20-21 school year.
- What needs to happen for a student to be activated?
- All enrollment forms completed/signed
- ILP approved/signed
- How can I check my student's status to see if they have been activated?
- Log in to Brightways and look at your Parent Dashboard. Each student's status will show next to the school year - complete, active, pending, etc.
- Or, call or email your advisory teacher so they can check for you and let you know if there is anything missing for activation.
Sign the Enrollment Application
Once you enroll your student(s) there will be a green button at the top of your dashboard that says "Complete Enrollment Application". When you click on the button, the enrollment application will come up for you to review. Scroll to the bottom of the form where it will ask you to "Sign" the form. Type the name shown in the box, then click confirm.
Language Survey - For new students
The Language Survey helps to identify students that made need help or accommodations with English. It only needs to be completed one time for each new student.
Enrollment Packet
The Enrollment Packet has the four forms that are completed each year:
- Checklist
- Parent Release of Information
- Program Requirements
- Field Trip & Activities.
These forms need to be completed, signed and turned into the office for Enrollment to be completed.
The Enrollment Packet for New Students/Families also includes the Optional Electronic Deposit Form.
