Wellness Sessions for Parents and Families
WCPSS has health and wellness resources posted at wcpss.net/wellness. They have free health and self-care workshops available for students and families, including parenting, stress management, student engagement, and finding balance. Pre-registration is required. WCPSS also offers free wellness workshops that focus on helping students and families during this challenging time. These workshops can help families learn more about emotional support strategies being used in schools, which can also benefit families at home.

Rising 6th Grade Happenings
Rising 6th Grade Open House
Welcome Rising 6th-Grade students and families to Davis Drive! To learn more about our amazing school and elective choice options please join us for our Virtual Open House on Monday, March 15 at 6:00 pm. In order to help with a smooth presentation, this Open House will be informational only. We will record the session for you to access on our website afterward. To help us prepare for the presentation, if you have questions you would like for us to address, please use the FORM located on our school's website under "Rising 6th-grade Registration" found in the "Panther News" section. If we do not address your question during the presentation, you may contact us. Also, please visit the Rising 6th grade registration website. 6th Grade Happenings
Rising-7th Grade Elective Registration!
It’s hard to believe that it’s time for students to select their elective courses for 7th grade! Students learned about their elective options and the registration process on Wednesday, March 10th. All information is posted on the Rising-7th Grade Registration website and in the 6th Grade Google Classroom. Elective registration must be completed in student PowerSchool accounts between March 15th and March 26th.
7th Grade Happenings
This week, I shared with 7th graders via Google LIVE the Rising 8th grade presentation. they learned about elective offerings for next year as well as reviewed the registration process. The presentation as well as Elective Course Descriptions can be found on the 7th grade page on the Student Services website. Many of these resources and documents are posted on their grade level "Class of 2026" google classroom. The registration window will be from Monday, March 15 to Friday, March 26th. The High School Registration season is in full swing. Please visit the High School Registration website for the most up-to-date information. There you will find the Parent and Student High School Registration presentation, course offering sheets, and other helpful information.
