Sami's Circuit was a SUCCESS
Today, we hosted Sami's Circuit, a motivational program that incorporates fitness, and it was a ROARING SUCCESS! The kids had a fantastic time exercising their hearts out and filling their buckets with words of positivity from Sami. As our first assembly we've been able to host this year, we loved bringing the FUN back onto campus.
Congrats to 7th Grade for their win in the "Iron Giraffe" challenge!
This morning, Lichen P-8 was names as a second place winner in the Iron Giraffe Challenge during a live drawing on Facebook and YouTube. We were one of 176 schools around the world that met the challenge of raising $100 to fund the construction of water wells in village across South Sudan. This was done in tandem with their novel study, "A Long Walk to Water".
Congratulations to our 7th graders and all the members of our Lichen community who helped support this fundraiser!
