- Routines and Procedures in the virtually Classroom: For classrooms to run efficiently & effectively, there must be high expectations for success. You can ensure your students’ success by teaching classroom routines and procedures with fidelity. If you do not teach it, practice it and celebrate the students’ success in reaching standards, don’t expect students to adhere to verbal or written routines and procedures without knowing what it looks like.. The most successful teachers are consistent with every endeavor they implement. I have attached some websites on this subject for you to read and add to your knowledge base.

Zoom Classrooms: Please be sure to take off the waiting room option on your Zoom. This will allow students to enter your classroom if they are late and not interrupt your teaching. It also keeps administrators from waiting when we come into your Zoom to observe. Our goal is to observe via zoom, but if we have difficulty getting in your virtual classroom, we have to call further disrupting instruction. Go over Zoom Norms. For Instance:
· dressed appropriately .
· choose an area free from most distractions.
· Mute until called on.
· Use their names: show their faces.
· On time attendance and assignments.
· Show respect to others. Chat when allowed
I know many of you already went over this with your families, but if you haven't, please continue to schedule parent meetings during your office hours.
