CHECK-IN

As we are nearing the end of the first quarter, please take the time to talk with your student about his/her work during this quarter. What has been going well? What has been a challenge? If you have any questions about your student’s school work, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher. Also, remember to regularly monitor your student’s progress on the Home Access Center. If you have questions on how to access this site, please call the main office at 331-228-3100.

Thank you for taking an active role in your child’s learning!

PRINCIPAL COFFEE

Next Monday, October 15th will be the first Principal Coffee of this school year. We will be meeting from 1:30 - 2:30 pm at the 7/8 center. This time is structured so that I can be available to speak with parents and answer any questions that might be presented. I look forward to meeting with Thompson parents!

HALLOWEEN AT THOMPSON

Once again this year, Thompson students will be allowed to dress up for Halloween on October 31st. Guidelines will be included in next week’s Friday Forecast.

Enjoy your weekend!

Veterans Day Assembly

This year we will be celebrating Veterans Day on November 12th! Veterans Day is a day set aside to honor American veterans of all wars. Many of us know or have known men and women in our families or friends who have served in the armed forces to defend our country. This year we would like to take time to honor these individuals by acknowledging their time served and to honor them at an assembly beginning at 9:00 am on that day.

If your child has someone in your family, or a friend of your family, who they would like to invite to attend our assembly and introduce to the Thompson community, please fill out the google form below by November 2nd. Students in our Builder's Club will be writing invitations to these individuals to invite them to this assembly.
