Please note that students are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st. Of course, wearing a costume is a personal choice. If your student would prefer not to wear a costume, but still be a part of the school spirit, we encourage students to wear Parker Whitney spirit wear.
Please remember that weapons, face masks, face paint, gore and violence are not acceptable for school. Please see the letter linked above for more details.

National Cyberbullying Awareness Month
It's National Bullying Prevention Month.
Did you know that in-school bullying rates increased by 35% from 2016 to 2019? In 2019, over half (52.3%) of students said they had been bullied at school in the past 30 days. As far as cyberbullying goes, it has increased slightly (17.4% in 2019, compared to 16.5% in 2016). We urge you to review this important data and the excellent resources provided by the Cyberbullying Research Center.
Clearly we have a lot of work to do, as parents and as teachers, to help our children know what to do should they be bullied (online or off).
So please visit our Cyberbullying Hub for up-to-date resources and information on this important topic and download and share our infographic.
