ACA Pediatrics Council

Fall Updates

Website Updates!

The ACA Peds Council research webpages are currently being updated, stay tuned!

On our new site, you will find the most up to date literature for Pediatric Chiropractic care. On this topic, the evidence is often limited but promising and may often be ahead of acceptance in the community. We’ve done our best to present an unbiased view of the literature and distill down the essential points for the busy practitioner.

The Research Committee gathers, discusses and synthesizes the best evidence with their clinical experience to put ACA Council on Pediatrics members ahead of the curve on patient care and interactions with other providers in their community. There is more to chiropractic care than adjustments and we look at all the best treatments available.

#ACAPedsCouncil can help you navigate the literature.

Big picture

🌟CCP Members in Action🌟

Dr. Mary Beth Minser is a past president of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, a member of the ACA and Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Minser currently serves as the CCP education chair. She shares this, about the work to promote chiropractic care for children in Minnesota (and beyond!)

"Minnesota Chiropractic Associations Kids Week is held 10/20/19-10/26-19 and was started by a few members of the MCA noticing that as the population of children seeking chiropractic care has increased, there is much work to do to bring awareness of how important chiropractic is for a child’s health. This week is dedicated to helping our MCA chiropractors celebrate and promote the treatment of children in their clinics. At Minser Chiropractic Clinic, we use this week to educate the community and patients about the benefits of pediatric chiropractic care.

We offer onsite education to classrooms. We bring a full skeleton, adorned with a Vikings hat, and name him "Sam". The children's reaction to learning what their spine and nervous can do is priceless. In clinic, we have painted pumpkins, made a hand x-ray out of Q-tips etc… The point of this week is to bring awareness to the value of health, through early intervention as an infant/child, through the power of a chiropractic adjustment.

Any community, group, or state association is easily able to promote a day, week or month devoted to chiropractic pediatric care. Be imaginative and inventive so staff and patients look forward to the event."
