Must meet all legal requirements to purchase/own firearms to purchase ticket or claim prize.

If out of state, must pay all applicable transfer fees.

MISSION: Avery ISD Education Foundation partners with the community to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovative opportunities for all students in the Avery Independent School District.


GOALS: The Avery Education Foundation will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following goals:

*Enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students

*Support and recognize staff for innovative teaching

*Build community confidence through their involvement in assuring a quality education for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.

12 GUN DRAWING OFFICIAL RULES


Persons under the age of 18 may not purchase a ticket or win a prize.

Tickets are $100 and limited to 200 sold. Each ticket constitutes an equal chance to win. All unsold tickets become the property of Avery ISD Education Foundation.

Cash or check accepted. Checks returned NSF are subject to additional fee and disqualification from the 12 Gun Drawing.

Firearms required safe usage. All winners must follow manufacturer instructions and obey safe gun-handling procedures. Avery ISD assumes no liability for firearm use.

All local, state and federal firearm regulations must be met before a winner can receive a firearm.

In the event a winner receives a defective firearm, they must follow the warrantee steps outlined by the manufacturer. All warranties are solely the manufacturer's and not Avery ISD Education Foundation.

If a winner is unable to pass the BATFE background check, they will forfeit their prize to Avery ISD Education Foundation.

All 12 Gun Drawing prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days after the drawing. All unclaimed gun prizes will become the property of Avery ISD Education Foundation.

Avery ISD Education Foundation reserves the right to modify any of the 12 Gun Drawing prizes if needed based on manufacturers' available inventory.

Avery ISD Education Foundation reserves the right to substitute a gun of equal cost in the event that changes in federal firearms laws restrict the sale of the advertised firearm or due to availability because of manufacturer's production.

Pictures of guns may vary slightly from actual gun.

Avery ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c )(3) non-profit charity and your contribution may be deductible for income tax purposes.
