Woods Lake Elementary

Weekly Update January 18-22, 2021

Hello Woods Lake Family,

Monday, January 18, 2021 is MLK Day. This week our students will engage in lessons that are centered around the social justice work that Dr. Martin L. King Jr. led during his lifetime. MLK Day is a 'day on' for our KPS students as they will engage in learning activities focused on this great leader, in their ELA and Social Studies classes.

Last week, we offered day and evening times for collection of curriculum for students in grades: 1, 3, 4, and 5. If you were unable to collect your child's materials, you may stop by the office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00-4:00 p.m.

Thank you for ensuring that your child is online and ready to learn daily. As a way to acknowledge your hard work, we are planning a Family Pizza Night next month on Friday, February 12th. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the date.

As always, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!
