COVID Update

After having open discussions with other schools, health professionals, and the Pennsbury School District, St. Ignatius has decided to modify its COVID Protocols. The updated policy is detailed below.

  • Please know that the vaccination status of your child will determine if a quarantine is required.
  • If your child is vaccinated, you should send in a copy of their vaccination card to the school nurse.
  • It is imperative that you let us know in the event of an outside of school exposure.
  • Please let us know of all test results as soon as possible.
  • Please continue to do health checks on your child before school each day. We will be sending any symptomatic students home.

Christmas Show- "Good News Ahead"

Mrs. O'Hara-Tapp is hard at work preparing for the return of our Christmas Show. This year it is titled "The Signs of Christmas". Mark you calendars now as the show date is scheduled for December 16th at 7pm. Grades Kindergarten to 4 will be performing and our 8th grade will be presenting a Live Nativity. We are looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

From the Office of Catholic Education

Dear Parents of Catholic Elementary School Students,

Under the direction of Bishop Fitzgerald, a Strategic Planning Task Force for the Executive Board of Elementary Education (EBEE) has been established with co-chairs Sr. Carroll Isselmann and Chris Dezzi. In an effort to gain a broad perspective on how the EBEE can best support Catholic elementary education, the attached survey seeks your input. If you fill multiple roles within the school system, you may be receiving multiple surveys; it would be most helpful if you would respond from the perspective indicated in the survey. It should take about 15 minutes to complete the survey. The survey link to the survey is pasted here:

Parents Survey:

Thank you for your support of this important endeavor which will assist in planning for the future of Catholic elementary education. The survey will remain open until December 3, 2021.

Habitat for Humanity Dress Down Day and Pretzel Sale

This Friday, 11/19, we will be holding a Dress Down Day and Pretzel Sale to raise funs for Habitat for Humanity. This is sponsored by our DLFF Scholars. Students in Grades 5 to 8 attended an information session hosted by a Habitat for Humanity volunteer. We are asking for a $1.00 donation for the Dress Down Day and we will sell pretzels for $1.00. All proceeds will be going directly to the Bucks County Habitat for Humanity.

Lock Down Drill

We will be holding an Internal Intruder Lock Down Drill on Monday. The students are being instructed on the proper procedures and protocols. Please help your children understand that these drills are necessary and nothing to fear.

Penny War 11/30/21

As part of our Fundraising Campaign 2021, we will hold a Penny War between all our classes next Friday. We will find out which class is the most creative with their collected pennies. All pennies collected by the students will go toward the maintenance fund for the facilities.

Start collecting your pennies now and help make this a successful fundraiser. Your homeroom teacher will be sending home information about how to send the pennies into school after Thanksgiving.

Pre- K Drop Off

When dropping off our Little Crusaders please park in the Pre-K lot pulling all the way forward to ensure enough space for all the cars. As a reminder, Pre-K 4 drop off is 8:15am - 8:30am and for Pre-K 3, 8:30am-8:45am. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Upcoming Events:

The Home and School Association cordially invites you to kick off the start of the Christmas season with Cookies and Milk with Santa! Please join us on Saturday, December 4 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM as we gather for cookies, milk, live Christmas carols, and of course, a visit with Santa! We will also be commemorating the event with a special Christmas tree lighting. This event will take place outside of the parish rectory, and there is no cost for families to attend. In the spirit of giving, we invite you to bring canned goods to place under the tree for donation to those less fortunate, and also feel free to bring a special item to place onto the tree for the lighting.

Kindly RSVP by filling out the Google form attached and noting your family name and number of children attending. We ask that you respond by Monday, November 22 so that we can best plan for the event. We hope to see you there!
