Wolfsville Elementary News
June 2018
Thank You, Wolfsville!
It is hard to believe the time has already come to send my last newsletter of the 2017-2018 school year! It has been my honor and privileged to serve as principal of Wolfsville school this year and I have enjoyed every minute being a part of this wonderful community. Our dedicated and caring staff and community volunteers worked to ensure that ALL students experienced success and growth in their academic, social-emotional and extracurricular abilities this school year. I am proud of our many accomplishments and look forward to continuing this work next year. I pledged to you last summer that my leadership vision for our school is to provide a 21st century learning experience for ALL students; anchored in relationships and provides relevance and rigor for authentic learning. We will continue to build on the work we have achieved this year and explore additional innovative instructional techniques and school structures that honor this promise for the coming school year.
I sincerely thank each and every one of you for sharing your children with us and supporting our school. Thank you for a successful and collaborative year!
Yours in Education,
Megan Stein

Meet Mr. Tressler
I’m Chris Tressler, your new school counselor. My wife Christy (reading intervention at Tuscarora) and I were married and moved to Myersville in 2000. We have two teenagers. Lynnsey is a 16 year old sophomore at Middletown High and loves to dance at Dee Buchanan Studio. Ryan is a 13 year old 7th grader at Middletown Middle and loves playing baseball for Mountain Valley. I’ve worked for 21 years at FCPS. I taught 5th grade (including magnet for one year) at North Frederick. I was a math intervention teacher for 3 years at Hillcrest and I’ve been the school counselor at New Market Elementary for the last 12 years. In my spare time I love to laugh and spend all of my time with family and friends. I love baseball (especially the Orioles) and have coached all levels through high school (including many Wolfsville students). I truly feel I have the best job on earth as school counselor. I’m excited to work with you all at Wolfsville next year. I feel my strengths are building relationships, collaborating with and supporting staff, and being flexible. I will do my very best to put the “guy” and “dance” in guidance! I can't wait to meet you!
Thank YOU!
