Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences are coming soon!
Just like last fall, each family will schedule an individual conference time with their child’s homeroom teacher. The conference window is March 1 and 2 after school and the morning of March 3. (There is no school on Friday, March 3.)
Watch the RAP next week for the SignUp Genius for you to schedule your conference. Times will fill quickly. The RAP will be sent on Thursday, February 16 because there is no school on Friday, February 17. Families that need a zoom conference will email their homeroom teacher directly.
We have been having some technical issues with the RAP for the past few weeks. We will send the conference SignUp in the RAP and in a text message. Also, you can always see the RAP on our Ridgeway website.

Now that we are more than halfway through the year, many students are running out of pencils. Please check with your child to see if it is time to send in more. Thank you!
Unit C
Next week, we are beginning the research for the Unit C 100 year project! We will do a field study at The State Historical Society of Missouri: Home on February 22. We will return to the school building before 11:00 so a special lunch is not necessary. A note with more details will be sent home as the date gets closer.

Music with Ms. Meeds and Ms. Swords
Hello! What an amazing start to the trimester we have had in music. We are very thankful and lucky to have Ms. Swords join us for six lovely weeks as our student teacher from Mizzou! Ms. Swords will be with us through February 16 before she moves on to her secondary placement at West Middle School. I will let her introduce herself and share about her experience here as a Ridgeway Ram!
Hello, Ridgeway families! My name is Meg Swords, and I am a senior majoring in Music Education at Mizzou. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to teach and get to know your children. Their kindness makes me excited to come into school every day and reluctant to leave soon. Some highlights have been performing new songs on recorders in Unit C, playing lots of games to teach new notes to Unit B, and playing music for Unit A to teach them the comparatives of loud/soft and fast/slow. I have loved my experience at Ridgeway, especially seeing how the school values and caters to the needs of every child. I could not have asked for a better student teaching experience!
