FALL 2019 - COLLEGE ADMISSIONS REP VISITS
During the first semester of the school year, many colleges send admissions representatives to visit our school. At these times, all 11th and 12th grade high school students have an opportunity to talk in small groups with representatives from the visiting colleges. Since these conferences are time-consuming students should be selective in choosing them; otherwise, they may be neglecting their classwork. Military representatives also visit frequently and are available through individual requests.
Parents and students are kept informed of these visits in numerous publications. In the fall, we will be using Naviance to let students know of these visits.
IMPORTANT: Students should check their student email and login to Naviance regularly during the school year to keep abreast of upcoming events.
DUQUESNEFEST - JUNE 9th
DuquesneFest is a fun and informative day where Fall 2019 high school seniors and their families can speak with representatives from admissions and financial aid, as well as from other academic, administraive and student life departments. During the day, there will be many opportunities to learn about college admission procedures, classes, majors and career opportunities.
