LAST OPPORTUNITY for Mishloach Manot:
Sponsorships are available for our annual Mishloach Manot packages. You can sign up to be a Contributor ($36) or Sponsor ($72+). We are collecting tzedakah for Matanot La'Evyonim, to be distributed on Purim day to Project HOME in PA and Masbiah Soup Kitchen in NY. Please contribute by February 26 at noon (Purim day) to ensure delivery on Purim. Visit our Donate page and choose the appropriate item from the drop down menu.
If you would like to participate in this mitzvah on Purim day, the Keller family will leave coins on their porch and folks are welcome to stop by at their convenience.
There are still a few spots remaining for both of our megillah readings. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to Rabbi Will Keller (email@example.com).
Thursday, February 25:
Fast Ends (Rabbi Tukaccinsky) - 6:19 pm
Fast Ends (Rabbi Feinstein, for those having difficulty) - 6:22 pm
Fast Ends (Rabbi Feinstein, for those not having difficulty) - 6:30 pm
6:20 pm - Maariv, followed by a special reading of Parshat Zachor** and Megillah reading - only for those who have signed up in advance. Zachor and the Megillah will also be broadcast over Zoom.
Friday, February 26:
8:30 am - Megillah reading - only for those who have signed up in advance. It will be broadcast over Zoom as well.
**The practice to hear Parshat Zachor (which are the last three pesukim in Parashat Ki Teitzei in Chumash Devarim) traditionally takes place on the Shabbat preceding Purim. We know that many will not feel comfortable/be able to attend next Shabbat. Because many believe it is preferable to hear Parshat Zachor from the Torah (instead of reading it aloud in your home from a chumash) we will read those pesukim from our sefer Torah immediately prior to Megillah reading on Purim night.

We are pleased to let you know that Sha'arei Orah, as a result of the efforts of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, now has a modest emergency fund to help relieve financial distress caused by COVID-19. The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is leading many Emergency Response efforts for our community. They generously created a grant to our shul's Discretionary Fund to support those of us in need. Additional information about the Fund can be found here.
These funds are intended to help those in need of food, medical assistance, rent/mortgage payments and/or medical expenses. If you are in need of assistance, or have any questions, please reach out to Will Keller and we will work to help as much as we are able. Your conversations will remain in the strictest of confidence.
May we all have a year of health, happiness, and prosperity.
