GAME HI-LIGHTS

Monday, May 8

7th Grade Softball - The 7th grade softball team pulled off an impressive victory against rival Holicong and after a hard fought battle the Tigers came away with a 7 to 5 victory! On defense, Emma B at short stop was steadfast and had 5 put outs of her own making a wall along the left side of the field, while in the pitchers circle the always amazing Abby M. came away with numerous clutch strike outs holding a hard hitting Holicong team at bay. On offense, the Tigers were smart at bat having a keen eye for a good pitch vs a ball and having key hits made by Mira W, Emma B, Danielle R, Abby M. and Jacqui W.


7th Grade Baseball - The 7th grade Tamanend baseball team won a tight game against a talented Holicong team yesterday. Solid pitching by Scott L. and Justin M. kept the Tigers in the close game, and Matt P. stole home with two outs to win the game.


7th Grade Soccer played away at Tohickon.

Tuesday, May 9

8th Grade Girls Soccer - 8th grade soccer won a difficult game yesterday against rival Lenape. Scoring for the Lady Tigers were Janessa and Aly. The team kept a shutout with great saves by goalies Sam and Catherine and strong defensive play by Bridget, Makayla, Kelli, Sarah, and Lea.


8th Grade Softball - The 8th grade girls softball team lost their first game of the season yesterday to district rival Unami with a score of 6-8. The score was tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 5th inning when Unami pulled ahead by 2 runs. Timely singles by Gracie M. And Jamie M. had runners in scoring position when Tori S. came up to bat. She had a huge hit to right field but the Unami right field made an awesome play on the ball, catching the what could have been two runs to tie the game. Come out and support the Lady Tigers Friday when they take on Log College here at Tamananed.


8th Grade Baseball - The Tamanend 8th grade baseball team beat district rival Unami by a score of 5-2. Alex B. pitched his best game of the season by throwing 4 shutout innings. Jeff D. went 2 for 2 with 4 RBI's, including a base clearing....... double. Carter H. lead off the game with a double and went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. The Tigers will look to continue their winning ways on Friday against Log College.


Boys Varsity Lacrosse played at Lenape.


Girls Varsity Lacrosse played at home vs Lenape.


7th Grade Baseball played at home vs Lenape.

Wednesday, May 10

7th Grade Softball - The 7th grade softball team scrimmaged with Lenape Yesterday and Jackie W and Bri B showed great sportsmanship by playing for Lenape who was down players. Jackie had an RBI single for the Lenape team. Abby M pitched for the Tigers and struck out 8 batters. Danielle R made some great plays in the field making 3 unassisted outs.


7th Grade Boys Baseball - The 7th grade baseball team lost a tough game to a good Lenape team 9-3. Aiden V. pitched well and big hits by Tim W. and Scott L. kept the Tigers in the game early on.


7th Grade Soccer played Holicong at home.


Boys/Girls Varsity Track - Varsity track went up against New Hope and Holland and came in 2nd!

Thursday, May 11

Boys/Girls JV Track were at Unami against Unami and Lenape - JV beat their Lenape opponent but lost to a tough Unami team yesterday.

IMPACT TEST EDUCATION will be on MAY 22 3:00 IN AUDITORIUM – 4:30 TESTING

PRE TRYOUT MEETING will be WED., MAY 31 – 6:00PM

OPEN GYMS are TUES., MAY 16 AND MON., JUNE 5 – 6-7:30

TRYOUTS are TUES., JUNE 6 AND WED., JUNE 7 – 8TH GRADE 3:30-5 -

FINAL TRYOUT JUNE 8TH 3:30-6. ATHLETES MAY LEAVE AFTER THEY TRYOUT.


CB South Girls Soccer - There will be a CB South Girls Soccer Informational Parent Meeting on Wednesday, May 24, from 6-7:30 in the Forum


CB South Field Hockey - There will be a field hockey interest meeting on May 22 at CB South immediately following the Concussion Meeting and Impact Testing scheduled for 3:00 pm


For All CB South FALL ATHLETES – there will be a mandatory concussion meeting on May 22 in the auditorium at 3:00 pm. There will be Impact Testing to follow. Here are the impact testing times:

Field Hockey and Girl's Volleyball- 3:45pm

Boy's Soccer and Cheerleading- 4:30pm

Freshman Football and Girl's Soccer- 5:15pm

JV and Varsity Football- 6pm


GOLF- THERE IS A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL BOYS AND GIRLS INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR NEXT FALL'S GOLF TEAM. THURSDAY MAY 25TH AT 3PM IN THE FORUM ROOM
