Helpful Information
Transportation Information
Things to keep in mind -
- CISD does not offer transportation to students who live less than a mile from the campus.
- Parents or guardians must submit an Alternate Stop Request Form each school year for service to an alternate stop. Students who are not eligible for transportation services may not be allowed to request or utilize an alternate stop. Parents can request an alternate stop when you register your child for transportation.
- Transportation cannot change addresses for students. Please contact our PEIMS Clerk, Mrs. Jordan (cjordan1@conroisd.net) for address changes or corrections. Once the address change has been made, it takes about 48 hours for Transportation to process the change.
Transportation Changes
SMART Tags
6th Grade students will continue to use their SMART tag badges that were issued during the 2022-2023 school year to load and unload buses.
5th Grade students and students transitioning to new campuses will receive a new badge. These badges will be distributed once the school year begins. CISD will only supply the ID cards as students are expected to use their lanyard and plastic sleeve from the previous year. Students in intermediate school are not required to wear the badge all day, however, they should be connected to the backpack for access on the bus.
