Math- This week we will be focusing on tens and ones. We will work on identifying tens and ones and then solve problems by subtracting from the ten and then adding the remaining ones.

Reading/Science- We will be completing the light portion of our unit and working on our final project next week.

We will continue to work on using capitals and punctuation correctly in our writing with our focus still on writing about our opinions.

Social Studies- We will continue our focus on goods, services, producers and consumers.

Please read 10 minutes each night for a total of 50 minutes for the week. If you miss a night you can make it up throughout the week or on the weekend. Please return reading logs on Monday the 14th. If they are using Raz-Kids they can include that time on their reading log.

Substitute this week

This week I will be gone Wednesday thru Friday. My daughter who is in high school is having surgery to remove some cartilage from her ribs. Mrs. Barton will be subbing for me all three days. She came in and met the students last Thursday and Friday and watched our morning and afternoon routine so she will be able to provide consistency for the students.
