Nothing better than sharing support for the children

Many Thanks

You are to be commended for taking the time to join our teachers in discussing the progress and goals for your children. These conversations are priceless and can mean so much to the continued success of your children in school. See you next week on the 16th.

Fantastic Food Drive Helpers

Below are pictures of some third and fourth graders helping with the food items that are going to the church to be sorted. A number of classrooms offered the services of their students to learn how the food is sorted for the needy families. Darlene Haffermann directs the activites and the volunteers who come to school to pick up the food from the classrooms. Great job everyone!

Book Fair is a hit!

Annually in fall, we offer the children and families a chance to browse the new books from Scholastic Inc. Some of the books are old favorites and some are in a series that the children really enjoy. Thanks for supporting this event and I hope you hid some books for holiday gifts. Great way to spend cold nights-doing a little reading.

The Gaga Pit Gets Turf

We had a terrific donation from a parent who works with the turf industry. This has turned the gaga pit into an even more exciting place to play during recess. We are so thankful for this donation and it will add lots of enjoyment for our students. Here you see the styrofoam base that turf rests on that provides the cushion.

Mike Budisch

The children here are celebrating the fact that they helped to contribute their muscles to carrying and sorting food for our annual food drive. Thanks to all of the classes who participated.
