Additions to Open House Info

We're having two back-to-school events this year, the BTS Fair and Open House, and we hope you will join us for both, as they both offer different opportunities for students and families. In addition to meeting your teachers during Open House, we also have a meet-and-greet with the new superintendent, principal, and assistant principal. We will have a table set up in the lobby in front of the main offices with some refreshments, so please come by and introduce yourselves! We look forward to getting acquainted with all of our families.

We also have a couple of additions to our opportunities that night:

  • Booster Club will be selling past years' t-shirts and hoodies at a discounted price--be sure to load up on your spirit wear! T-shirts will be $5, and hoodies will be $10.
  • The ice cream truck will also be here for Open House--who doesn't love ice cream?!

Open House will be on Thursday, August 18, from 5:30-7:00--please join us!

Corrections to Back-to-School Fair Info

A couple of corrections to information about the Back-to-School Fair:
  • The ice cream truck will not be there, but it is coming for Open House, so join us then, too!
  • There will be no dental services this year.
There will be lots of services and activity booths offered that night, as well as free basic school supplies for all students who attend, so join us as we kick off the school year!

A big thank you to our custodial staff for the new shine on the gym floor. We're ready for basketball practice!

Breakfast and Lunch Prices

One of the relief measures from which schools and families have benefitted for the past two years, free school meals, has been discontinued for the upcoming school year. Meal prices for the 2022-23 school year will be:

Breakfast: $1.70

Reduced breakfast: $0.30

K-8 lunch: $2.15

9-12 lunch: $2.30

Reduced lunch (K-12): $0.40

Extra milk: $0.45

Extra servings: $0.50 (after everyone is served)

Extra milk and extra servings charges apply to everyone, including those on free/reduced lunch.

We would like to encourage everyone to complete a free/reduced lunch application. Some of the money we receive is determined by our percentage of students who qualify for free/reduced lunch, and the more families who can take advantage of this program, the more financial aid the district can qualify for. This paperwork will be included with enrollment forms.

Come to Open House on August 18th for a meet and greet with the new administrators! Representatives from the Board of Education will also be joining us.
