Washington Early Learning Center
The Washington Eagles
Week of May 25th-May 29th, 2015
From the Eagle's Nest!
Dear Families,
We will be having a "lock-down" drill on Wednesday, May 27th at 12:15. This drill will assist our staff and students with practicing going to a "safe place" in case there was ever a threatening situation in our building.
Teachers will be talking with the students about this drill and the "safe place" before the drill takes place. We will keep this drill as positive as we can and not talk about anything too "scary." You are encouraged to talk with your child and answer any questions they may have about this practice drill. We appreciate your support with this at home.
If you have any specific questions about this drill, please contact me.
Thanks,
Mrs. Nelson
Please mark your calendars!

- PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY and WATCH CAREFULLY!
- Please use the crosswalk that is indicated in the parking lot to get from the parked car area to our entrance doors.
- Always hold your child's hand and do not allow them to proceed in the parking lot without you.
- DO NOT cross in between busses (unless you are in the indicated crosswalk area).
Thank you for your assistance!
SCHWAN'S Fundraiser!
Do you order from Schwan's home delivery?
Schwan’s makes it very easy for us all to enjoy over 350 delicious food and desserts that they provide. Your food will be delivered to you at your convenience; they even provide a freezer bag for you if you will not be home for the delivery (it will even keep your ice cream cold on a hot summer day). You will need to provide a credit card on your first order, however your card will not be charged until your food is delivered, so if you prefer to pay by another option you may do so at time of delivery.
Remember to enter our fundraiser number when ordering (ID 16704), and we earn 5% of your order for our Washington PTO!
Catalogs are available in the office! If you would like one sent home with your child, please call the office or send a note with your child's teacher.
Thank you!
