April Update
ACHIEVING SUCCESS TOGETHER - RÉUSSIR ENSEMBLE
Principal's Message
Hello everyone. We thought it would be beneficial to send a quick update around our registration process for next year and share a few pieces of information with you.
Registration Information
Today, we sent out a Google Form to our current Grade 6 and 7 students. The form is the first step in determining what options may be offered to students next year. Once we know the level of student interest, we will then ask Gr. 6 and 7 students to choose their final selections. All current Gr. 6 and 7 students are asked to complete the Google Form by Thursday, May 7th.
For current Grade 5 students coming to École Charlie Killam School next year, we will be sharing a video explaining the upcoming registration process and try to give you as much information as we can so students and families know what to expect. Currently, Mrs. Elaschuk is working closely with all feeder schools and gathering information to help students make the transition.
Grade 8 students, you will be receiving a Google Form tomorrow (Friday, May 1st). The form will allow you to choose your options for next year at ÉCCHS. Expect the form in the afternoon.
Sports Academies
We are planning to offer our Hockey and Soccer Academies next year. Over the next several weeks, more information will follow.
Staffing change
Monsieur Feulefack has been our Grade 6 French Immersion teacher over the past several months. Madame Sabrina Heydorn is returning to ÉCKS and will be taking over the Grade 6 position. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Monsieur Feulefack for his devotion to our students and school. Merci beaucoup et bonne chance dans votre avenir.
Print Materials Reminder
If you are not receiving messages from the school, please feel free to contact the main office so we can check your email address with our files. Information is also posted on the school website.
