Lennie
The Strong man
About Lennie
Lennie is a Tall, Large man. He has incredible strength and his best friend is George and is totally dependent on him due to his mental disability. Because of it he acts like a 6 year old trapped in a 20 year old body.
Quotes
Lennie says many things, most don't make any sense but some are memorable. How every time hes done something bad he asks George if hes gonna yell at him and tell him hes gonna leave him but George never does. Here is a quote by Lennie' "I was only foolin', George. I don't want no ketchup. I wouldn't eat no ketchup if it was right here beside me."
"If it was here, you could have some."
"But I wouldn't eat none, George. I'd leave it all for you. You could cover your beans with it and I wouldn't touch none of it." (1.93-95)It Shows how much Lennie cares for George

Theme's of Of Mice and Men
I believe the theme that best fits the novel is The American Dream. I state this because throughout the story Lennie and George talk about going out and getting their own plot of land. Candy latches on desperately to George’s vision of owning a couple of acres.
