The exciting life of a supergenius
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. Einsteins parents, Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein, were worried at first because Einstein had an oddly shaped head. And, Einstein didn't start talking until the age of 4!
Later, though, Einstein did begin talking. And so began a very interesting childhood. Einsteins father owned an electrics company, so Einstein was always surrounded by science, which spiked Einsteins' curiosity. One time, Einstein was sick and couldn't go to school at the Luiptold Gymnasium (which he hated), his father brought him a compass to play with. Albert was fascinated by the way that no matter how he turned it, the needle always pointed in that one direction, North.
