Meet the Principal!
Ms. Lindsay Pietrzak
My yearly goal continues!
The partnership that we develop between school and home is so important. Every year I strive (and have reached) the goal of meeting 95% of Manning families. It has become much easier now that I know most, but I need to meet new and incoming kindergarten families.
What does a meeting look like?
Each family chooses what works best for them. Summer can be a great time to schedule a longer visit so I am reaching out early. Sometimes I meet all the family members and other times it's just one parent. It is whatever works best for you. Below is a list of visit opportunities that may work for you:
- Home visits - yes I can travel to you!
- Meeting at a local park
- Traditional meeting in my office
- Coffee chat in the morning
If you have another idea, I am open and willing to try something different.
How long do visits/meetings need to be?
They can range between 5 - 60 minutes depending on what works for you. Don't feel obligated to schedule a long visit. If summertime doesn't work, I can always meet for a quick 5-10 minutes before or after school.
What will we talk about?
The most important part of the conversation we have is getting to know one another. I am an open book so feel free to ask me anything!
My two questions for families are:
- What is important that I know about your child/children?
- How can I help you and your child/children to feel supported?
How do I set up a meeting? IT'S SIMPLE!!!
Please email me with potential dates and times. I am even flexible on the weekends as long as my daughter (3 years) can join.
