Madrona Newsletter
January 2, 2024
Dear Madrona Community,
As we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one with open arms, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you.
The past year has been filled with challenges and triumphs, but through it all all, our school community has shown incredible resilience, unity, and strength. Together, we have faced uncertainties, adapted to changes, and emerged even stronger as a collective force. 😀
As we embark on this new journey of the new year, let's carry the lessons and achievements of the past with us. May the coming months bring us a multitude of joy, laughter, and abundant opportunities for growth. Let's continue to support and uplift one another, our school community, and create an environment where every student, staff, and family member in our community feels welcomed and supported to thrive.
May the New year be a canvas of new experiences, a palette of vibrant moments, and a masterpiece of shared accomplishments. Together, lets make 2024 a year filled with meaningful learning and joyful school experiences.
Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
Principal Carter

Madrona Yearbook
Madrona Year Book 23-24 School Year
We are thrilled to announce that this year we are partnering with Treering to ensure our community has a yearbook. This will allow us to capture memories of our school year and each individual student's growth across the year.
One of the exciting features of this year's yearbook is that every student will be able to personalize 2 free pages with photos and selected memories they would like to capture in their book. This is not mandatory, but it is an option families can choose if they would like.
To get started, all you need to do is create your free account. Here is the website: https://www.treering.com/validate. Then enter our school passcode: 101696453284409. Then, you can order your book for $21.88 until April 19, 2024.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at sjwalker@seattleschools.org. We're looking forward to building an epic yearbook with you this year!
Thank you,
Ms. Shai
