Procedures for Preventing and Responding to Potential or Active COVID 19 Exposures

Welcome Mrs. Coriolan and Mr. Mike Weaver!!!

We have two new additions to our faculty that will be with us this year in proctoring middle school class and teach some as well. This will free up some time for our special area teachers to be free to increase the amount of special classes for the elementary school students.

Mrs. Coriolan you already know but with a different last name :) Mrs. Klaudia will return to teaching 8th grade religion and will be proctoring many of the middle school classes.

Mr. Mike Weaver you may also already know because he is our Boys Basketball Coach. He will be teaching some PE classes and will be serving as a classroom proctor in the middle school.

NUT Cards

Don't forget that the ones earned last year are still good. Please no NUT Cards on the first day of school. Review policies and procedures. Since there will be no mass on the first Wednesday students may use a NUT Card. Typically students may not wear NUT cards on mass days.

Time to Lower Those Ears Boys :)

Help us not be the hair cut police on the first day. If you haven't scheduled a hair cut time to do so this weekend. Remember the hair cut policy as stating in our SFCS Uniform Policy.

No unusual or fad haircuts that draw attention. Hair must be off the collar, above the ears and eye brows for the boys. Natural hair color only.

Uniform Policy

Please review the Uniform Policy before the first day. Click below for the document.

Hot Lunch Program Postponed

The Hot Lunch Program will be temporarily postponed. Students will need to bring a packed lunch every day. For the little ones please have items that the children can open and unwrap themselves as much as possible. Please have lunches and snacks as nutritious as possible. Please do not package a lot of candy and absolutely no soda or pop. Please avoid dropping off late lunches if you can. Please do not bring lunches from fast food restaurants.

Sgt. Washington is Still With Us at SFCS!!!

If you see a Beaufort County Sheriffs car in our loop it most like means we have our AMAZING School Resource Officer on campus. Sgt. Washington has been assigned to SFCS for the past 3 years and has been a major part of our school family. We love Sgt. Washington.

Drop Off and Dismissal Procedure Reminders

Drop Off and Dismissal will take more time than usual for the first few days. Please remember...

  1. Drive slow and stay off the cell phone
  2. Children need to stay in their car until temperature is taken by a faculty member
  3. Please have students wear their masks when they are getting their temperature taken
  4. Faculty members will be outside at 7:30am. If you have arrived earlier than that then please stay in your car in line. If you are here first then please pull up to the handicap ramp over by the Fine Arts Center

Follow Up Drip Off and Dismissal

Watch Out for These Barricades!!!

A BIG THANK YOU to parishioner Mr. Rich Regan for building these barricades to remind people to not drive on the school drive, loop and back parking. We know that this may be an inconvenience for some so we thank you for your understanding. We want to make sure we have enough space for outside.

New Sinks for Handwashing!

Since we cannot have students drinking at water fountains we have converted the outside drinking fountain to two hand washing stations for students to wash their hands after recess. Thank you Kelly & Sons Plumbing for installing these!

For the Students - Where do I go in the morning?

Have your child(ren) watch the video below if they are nervous about where to go when they walk in the school the first day.
