COUGS TOGETHER

Cougs Together is a group of 10-12 students that are trained as peer educators and develop a campaign that aims to increase the awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety. Cougs together completes projects that seek to connect students with trusted adults and mental health supports. The project values social connections and coping strategies to support overall student well-being.

Link Crew is a student leadership program. Its focus is on making select individuals from the Junior and Senior classes, known as "Link Leaders," into mentors for freshmen.

Current Sophomores and Juniors can apply in the spring to be trained as a Link Leader for the following school year.

Eligible junior and seniors meeting the GPA requirement will be invited to apply. NHS focuses on the four pillars of leadership, scholarship, service, and character. Students may apply after the completion of their sophomore or junior year if they demonstrate academic achievement. An application is required for membership approval.
