Principal's Welcome to Parents

August, 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am looking forward to the outstanding learning opportunities we will provide for our Falcons. The past few years have been uniquely challenging, but our students and staff have continued to SOAR. Please join me in welcoming our new staff to the Falcon Academy:

Pia Ribbe - Instructional Coach

Nicole Osborn - 1st grade

Sarah Girgis - School Psychologist

Tania Batstone - Noon Supervisor

Hanna Metro - Noon Supervisor

Gabriella Torres - Noon Supervisor

Angelica Perez - Resident Sub

Genesis Centeno - Paraprofessional

Diane Rios - Paraprofessional

Class Postings: Teacher assignments will be posted on your Parent Portal on Friday, August 12th. Please log onto the Parent Portal to see who your child’s teacher will be. If you don’t have access to the internet or a computer, our office will be open from 10:00 - 4:00 on Friday to assist you.

First day of school: School starts on Monday, August 15th at 8:45. On the first day of school ONLY, parents will be allowed to accompany students to their classroom lines. Parents will not be allowed in the classrooms. On every other day, parents will say their goodbyes at the top of the walking ramp, TK/Kinder gate, and front driveway. Parents will not be allowed on campus at drop off.

I look forward to seeing all of you at Back To School Night on Tuesday, September 6th at 6:30 p.m. We will be able to provide more detailed information about your child’s education at this time. I hope you will join us at this important parent night.

I am honored to serve the Falcon community. It is a privilege to be a part of this supportive community.
