From the Principal...

Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), & Students,

It is hard to believe we are nearly half way through another school year and we haven't had to shut down! Our school elves have been reporting to Santa just how amazing your kids are in school. You should be proud! Thank you for supporting good learning habits at home and for supporting all of the COVID safety protocols each and every day. Your kids make it look so easy and normal.

During the winter break, if you're looking for things to do with your family, you might consider:

  • playing board games or cards
  • reading as a family
  • doing a puzzle
  • practicing new learning with our online programs/teacher activities found under 'students' on our website or on the teacher's communication information
  • enjoying the outdoors & quality family time
  • writing letters
  • coloring

Merriest wishes to you all this holiday season! Watch for my special 'student thank you' message via the McCall Chamber video (coming our way soon)! See you back in school on Monday, January 4th!

Mrs. Berg, Principal

2nd Semester Calendar ~ 2021

Please note that the Friday's are not always alternating or every other week; but rather designed to equal the same amount of school days for both our M/W and T/Th students. This is the board approved 2nd semester calendar to follow.

School Closure/Delay Reminders

In the event of a Snow Day, you will be notified by phone and email through our automated calling system. The district will try to make a decision no later than 6:30 AM to either:

  1. CANCEL school for the day (for all students)
  2. Implement “2 HOUR DELAY” (Buses pick up 2 hours later than normal and the school day would run from 10:05-3:00.)

Microsoft Teams

All BRMES students have a Microsoft account provided by the school district. If we end up going to an all-online schedule; all students will need to know how to login to his/her Microsoft account from home to access Microsoft Teams and connect with his/her teacher for live lessons every other day. We are continuing to teach/prepare ourselves and the students, just in case. There is also a free Teams App you can try as well. Ask your child(ren) or the classroom teachers if you need help.

Powerschool is an excellent tool for parents to keep track of their child's daily schedule, attendance, and grades. Please call us to create an account if you haven't yet done so. Once you have an account, you can download the Powerschool app to use from a mobile device. Our code is: XLLD. Call us if you are needing further assistance @ 634-2219.
