Mountaintop Moses Challenge
During chapel today, we invited your children to get serious about their prayer time. This prayer challenge aims to develop a habit of consistent daily conversations with God. Students can journal their praises, their requests, and even a reflection of a Bible verse they encountered that day. This easy-to-use book is designed for kids! We are asking them to journal 40 days between now and Christmas. Each entry must be dated. Rewards will be given after their 40 days are logged. Journals can be obtained for only $5 in the office. Parental permission is required to place it on the school bill. Let’s “power up in prayer”!
Devotion with Dads
Love seeing so many dads coming together to pray over their kids and our school this morning. If you have time on Friday morning consider joining other KAES dads for a moment of prayer at 7:50 am by the front doors.
Tickets to Texas State Fair
We will once again be sending home State Fair tickets with all elementary students next week. Hope it is a fun way to spend time with your family. Middle school students will use their ticket for their field trip in October. Please be on the lookout for your child's ticket. Don’t let it end up at the bottom of their backpacks.
KAES Grandparents' Day.
This is a special day that we invite all Grandparents of KAES students to come to the school for some entertainment, interactions and a yummy meal that they get to eat with their grandchildren. We will have a short program starting at 10:00 am in the elementary building followed by time to visit with grandchildren in their classroom. We will finish this special day with a fantastic lunch in our cafeteria. Lunch can be purchased ahead of time for $8.00 in the office until Sept. 20 or may be purchased at the door for $10.00 on Grandparents Day. Proceeds help the cafeteria with needed equipment.
Save the Date! Gymnasium dedication OCT 23
You are invited to the dedication of our new KAES Gymnasium. It has been an incredible journey seeing how God blessed at every stage of the process. We want to take a moment to recognize God and those that He used to provide our gym. We will have light refreshments after the ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a chance to walk through the gymnasium.
Carpet Donation
We have a large storage area above the offices and restrooms in the new gymnasium that we did not plan or budget to finish. It is a large space with just the plywood floors. It's not a fancy space but a great place to store equipment. We have been blessed by a generous donor that will provide the carpet for this 2700 sq ft. We are looking for a group of individuals who would be willing to contribute to the installation cost. If you want to help just place a donation at the office or online for gym carpet.
