White Spotted Jellyfish
The White Spotted Jellyfish is native to Australia and the Philippines. It was introduced to the Pacific Ocean through the Panama Canal on the hulls of ships. It negatively impacts the ecosystem by preying on native species and the shrimp industry, by getting caught in fishing nets and lowering the shrimp population. We can prevent this species from spreading by cleaning any visible plants or organisms on any equipment that has been in contact with water from different areas.
We can keep our kids, pets and family inside and keep the doors closed. If a python is found we can put it in an ecosystem where it belongs. Phytons were introduced to Florida by people setting free their unwanted pythons. We can prevent this by not setting pythons free in a random environment we can find a place where you can appropriately set free pythons and other exotic animals.
