A Message from Dr. Stone
Just a reminder that all students must have something to do during advisory. They must have a book to read or homework to do if they are not making something up, in interventions or rehearsing. Often times it is a great way for students to catch up!
Also, please remember to be courteous in the drop-off/pick up line and take turns using the zipper method. You can use both lanes to drop off and pick up - just take turns from each lane.
Thanks and I hope everyone is having a great week!

PARENT BOOK STUDY WITH WCJH COUNSELORS
Teens today are forty percent less empathetic than they were thirty years ago, often with devastating consequences. In 'Unselfie', best selling author and parenting expert Dr. Michele Borba pinpoints the forces causing the empathy crisis and offers a revolutionary 9-step plan to help parents and educators cultivate empathy in children, from birth to young adulthood.
With age appropriate exercises and examples from years of research, Dr. Borba offers a framework that yields the results we all want: successful, happy kids who grow up to be kind, moral, courageous, and resilient adults.
Please join us as we explore ways to shift our children's focus from I, ME, and MINE to US, WE, and OURS.
