Make sure that you have cleaned your room and decluttered before you leave today. If your desks or tables need to be wiped down, speak to the custodian on your hall.

Tuesday, 2/23/16

1) Data Teams Process - Science & Social Studies PLC. Make sure to update PLC forms.

2) Identify students who score at mastery, near mastery, and remediation.

3) Lesson Planning- Modify/ Adjust Curriculum/Instructional Strategies, and Create Assessments for students needing enrichment, extension and remediation.

(Use SLDS for resources.)

4) Take a look at your Trackers and Curriculum Maps to determine if you have taught the curriculum that will be tested on the GA Milestones. Administration will get an update from each department.

*Curriculum Audit - 2:00 - 3:30. Expect a visit. Provide a folder with a copy of the materials you are presenting. Label it with the grade level/Content Area/Standards/Page (if applicable).

We will begin the 2nd Round of evaluations. For this walk through we will look for evidence of Differentiated Instruction and Instructional Strategies aligned to the GA MAS expectations. As always, we will look for professional knowledge and instructional planning.

In observance of Black History Month, Carver Road Middle School will host a special celebration February 25th at 6pm. You are invited to an evening of poetry,dance, music and much more. Come out and enjoy performances from CAMS students and faculty. Special guest performances include the Uhuru African Dancers and the Griffin High School Award Winning Choir! See you there!
