Seckman Middle Friday FYI
Hello SMS Families!
This week we announced the October Students of the month at SMS! We congratulate them for their hard work! Each student receives a "SMS Swag Bag" and a student of the month card that gives them some extra perks throughout the month! We will be celebrating with them and their parents later in the month as well!
Have a great weekend!

October Anti-Bullying Fundraiser
SMS Pride is excited to sponsor the #BlueUp campaign for STOMP Out Bullying for the month of October. On Wednesday, October 27th, donate $1 to wear a blue hat and all proceeds will go to STOMPOutBullying.org to support their #BlueUp campaign. This campaign “Stands up against hate, racism and discrimination while changing the culture with inclusion, quality, civility so unity becomes our destiny.” You can also wear blue all month long to show your support for the anti bullying movement. Together we can make SMS a safer and kinder place to learn.

Student Chromebook Reminders
Just a few reminders for students about their Chromebook usage:
- Remind your students to charge their Chromebooks every night at home so they have a full battery the next morning!
- Remind them to completely turn off their Chromebook when they are not using it. Putting it in sleep mode can cause issues with battery functionality.
Thanks for your help!
