On October 1, our 5th grade traveled to the Crawford County Fairgrounds to participate in the AG Encounter. The purpose of this trip was to arrange for our students to hear from the agricultural community so that they could share their knowledge and expertise about agriculture and where their food comes from. Everyone had a great learning experience and a fun-filled day! We also received some follow up AG lesson plans for our attendance that we can incorporate here in the classroom!

Ms. McPherson's kindergarten students read to our Pre-K students to model! Pre-K was excited to see that in a short time, they will be readers, too!

Kindergarten was using the power of the pointer this week to read all the words on a page! Pointer Power!
