Trolls Attendance Challenge
The Winner of the Trolls Attendance Challenge is....
TEAM BARB!
Here is how the percentages came in:
Team Poppy: 93.3%
Team Barb: 93.9%
Team Tiny Diamon: 93.8%
It came down to 1/10 of a percentage point to determine the winner!
ALL student efforts were celebrated with class popsicle parties!
Our school goal is to be a 95% average attendance rate for the entire year! Prior to COVID, our attendance rate was 94%. We not only want to meet it, but beat it!
Team Barb gives some love to Mr. Cox! (They piled on him like a bunch of puppies, and he eventually ended up on the ground!)

Pumpkin Poetry Kinder - 8th Grade
All PK8 students are encouraged to participate in this year’s Pumpkin Poetry contest.
To enter, you must first write a poem that has something to do with pumpkins and/or Halloween. The format and type of poem is up to you. What the poem is written on is also up to you. It could be paper, card stock, cardboard, or whatever. Then, along with your poem, you must bring in a carved pumpkin on either Wednesday or Thursday, October 26th or 27th. We will place them in the commons, for students to walk by and view during lunch.
Judging of the poetry and the carved pumpkins will be done by your student council on Friday morning, October 28th. Winners will be announced at the start of school that day. Creativity of both elements is important, but the priority is the poetry.
We’re hoping to have enough entries to have a winner in kindergarten through 2nd grade, a winner in 3rd through 5th grade, and a middle school winner. If we don’t have enough entries, we may need to combine groups.
Winners of each group will receive a special Halloween treat. If we have enough entries, we will also reward one or two runner ups per group.
All pumpkins should be brought home on Friday the 28th, so that they are at your house for Halloween.
