It's a GREAT day to be a Cardinal!
January 21, 2022
Happy Friday.
Next week we will be participating in our annual Great Kindness Challenge.
The Great Kindness Challenge is one week dedicated to creating a culture of kindness on campuses nationwide. Our school is proudly participating in this proactive, positive anti-bullying initiative.
Each student with receive one master checklist with 50 ideas of kind acts to complete throughout the week and a Kindness Bingo Board that they can do and turn in for a prize. Please encourage your students to complete the checklist and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!
Below you will see what the Kindness Spirit Themes are for each day. Also, the middle school will be selling Kindness Grams throughout the week for $1.00.
If you have not had a chance to fill out my parent survey, I hope you will be able to. I would like to have feedback from as many parents as possible. Here is the link:

Board of Education
January is School Board Recognition Month. Our school board members are citizen-servants who shoulder critical responsibilities and often make difficult choices for our district, all with minimal pay. Their focus is always on the future success of the children in our district. Celebrating School Board Recognition Month is one way to say thanks for all they do. Serving as a link between the community and classroom, school board members are elected to establish the policies that provide the framework for public schools. Board members serving are: Andy Ninichuck- Board President and US Grant JVS representative, Randy McElfresh- Vice President, Jenny Broadwell-member and Student Achievement Liaison, Yvonne Baker- Member, Sabrina Schnarrenberg- Member & Legislative Liaison It’s more important than ever that communities support public education so that today’s students are prepared to be productive citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. Please take a moment and tell school board members thank you for caring about our children and giving so much to our community. Let them know we support them and that their dedicated service is recognized and truly appreciated.
