Lycoming Composite Mountain Bike Team
LTMS enjoyed a special visit from Coach Joe and Sue about our county mountain bike team held on Friday, June 2, 2023. Our students were respective and engaged during the presentation and performance. They are hopeful students take advantage of a practice session or register to see what they are all about. The fun is incorporated within skill building and many times the student isn't aware of what they have learned until the debrief. Please feel free to contact them with any questions or for more information. They truly enjoy "getting kids on bikes" and their parents if they are so inclined!

Everybody Trout
Thanks to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, two classrooms were able to take part in the "Trout in the Classroom" Program this year. 🎣
The Fish and Boat Commission sent us Rainbow Trout Eggs from their hatchery in January, and we were able to raise the trout in our aquariums until early June when we released them at the confluence of Little Pine and Big Pine in Waterville. 🌲⛰

Traffic Flow
As construction/additions are almost to completion at the west end of campus traffic flow is now open! However, as renovation/additions continue on the east end of campus (cafeteria and new classrooms) traffic flow was adjusted again for summer school. We plan to use this same route for LTHS/LTMS families to start the 2023-2024 school year. Staff and student drivers will continue to enter/exit via Four Mile.
School Transportation
The transportation department is in the process of preparing the bus transportation schedule for the 2023-2024 school year. If your student will need bus transportation, you must complete a registration form on our website no later than July 31, 2023. Again, all bus riders must complete a registration form.
Once the schedule is completed, you will receive your student’s bus assignment, including location with an approximate bus arrival time for both morning and afternoon stops. Bus notifications will be mailed in early August.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Transportation Supervisor, Noah Bower by email, nbower@loyalsocklancers.org.
