Marysville High School Newsletter
March/April 2020
Message from the Principal
Marysville High School Parents/Guardians,
It is hard to believe that Spring is just around the corner. Students have two marking periods left in their second semester. During this time, there is an important testing window for our students directly following our Easter Break. Our juniors will be taking their SAT, Work Keys, and M-Step beginning Tuesday, April 14, through Thursday, April 16. Sophomores will take the PSAT 10 on Tuesday, April 14, and freshmen will take the PSAT 9 on Wednesday, April 15. The winter sports seasons will be ending soon and the students will have an opportunity to get involved by participating in our new spring sports seasons starting soon.
This is also the time of year Seniors begin preparing for their post-secondary opportunities to include: college, work force, trade school and/or military. As exciting as this time of year is for seniors, it can also be stressful transitioning from the end of their high school career preparing for a completely new beginning. It is important to continue strong communication and support for your child during this transition time.
Lastly, we want to thank you again for your support throughout the school year. We encourage you to visit our website and view our daily announcements to stay current with the many school activities occurring here at Marysville High School.
Respectfully,
Bill Farnsworth, Principal
