Our News Team Rocks!

Our News Team is doing a great job producing the news show each week! Students arrive early to research their segments and write their scripts. They film in front of a green screen using the Green Screen by Do Ink app and then the show gets edited together in iMovie. The show is shared out through Google Drive for teachers and students to watch on Thursday mornings.

Our Book Fair was a success!

Thank you to all who shopped and volunteered during the November book fair. The library relies on this fundraiser to purchase new books for our collection as well as to fund library programs. We appreciate your support!

Box Tops for Education Contest Winner

15,863 Box Tops were collected during the Box Tops for Education contest. The Media Center will receive a check for $1,586.30 for what is basically trash! Congratulations to 1st Grade. They won the Box Tops contest and will receive a prize from the Media Center. Please continue to collect Box Tops. We will have another contest in the spring. Money raised is used to support library programs such as author visits and the SC Book Award Challenge.
