CELDT Testing: Rickards & Edwards will be testing kids on Sept 19-20 and they will be missing class. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR OUTLOOK NOTICE FOR DETAILS.
Report Cards: Report cards should be completed during prep this week with your department and are due on Thursday by 4pm.
Parent Conferences: Please share your conference schedule and attendance of parents at conferences with Anzelc. In addition, if you think presence is needed at a conference by Anzelc, Taniia, Jon or Aurora please invite them to conferences ASAP! Schedules fill up otherwise!
Project Guardian: Has begun! This first round of Project Guardian will continue through October. This year we are focusing on the application of the 7 Habits in and out of the classroom. Open Enrollment: NP3 K-9th grade open enrollment is just around the corner! Open enrollment period is October 17th-November 17th. Applications will be available online and in the front office starting October 1st.
Fundraiser 5K Run: Natomas Schools Foundation is holding a 5K run Saturday, October 1st. For every racer who registers from NP3 or represents NP3, our school will get $10.00 back for each adult, and $5.00 from each child. Register here: www.natomas5k.org.
Yearbook: Pre-order your 2016-17 yearbook! For online orders, please visit www.balfour.com. Yearbooks can also be purchased in room O-3 by cash/check. All yearbooks will be hardcover and $23. Prices go up November 1st!
Parent Conference Week: September 26-30 is conference and they are all minimum days.
DC/NYC for Current 7th graders: DC/NYC 2018 Enrollment Trip meeting will be held on September 26th at 5:30pm in Silas’ room O-2.
Fall Break: No school October 3-14. We will resume classes on October 17th!
Box Tops: Boosters will be running our semi-annual box tops run. The winning advisory class that collects the most box tops gets a pizza party! Box tops must be trimmed and current (expired box tops are void). Last day for box tops will be Monday, October 24th.
Booster Meeting: The next booster meeting is on September 12th @ 6:30pm in the NP3 Library. Snacks are provided!
Club Meeting Information (all clubs are held at lunch with the exception of Football Club):
Gardening: Every Monday by the fire lane starting Monday September 12.
Outdoor Club: Every Tuesday in room I-4 staring September 13.
Expressive Arts: Every other Friday alternating between I-7 and O-2 starting Friday September 16th .
Electronics: Every other Wednesday in room I-6 starting Wednesday September 21.
Campus Love: Every Other Tuesday (opposite of Outdoor club).
Football: Every Monday starting September 12th from 3 – 4pm on the field. They will be playing flag football.
Alliance: Every other Wednesdays in room K-1 starting Wednesday September 14th. Yearbook: Every other Friday in room O-3 starting Friday September 9.

Our goal is to celebrate and promote kindness as well as highlight students/staff members who are applying the 7 Habits at NP3. Students may nominate as many teachers or fellow students who exemplify Habit 1: Being Proactive for September/October. Advisory teachers have nomination forms.
Fundraiser Jamba Juice Cards: 8th grade East Coast Trip students are selling buy one get one free Jamba Juice cards for $10. They can be used up to six times each and they pay for themselves in just two visits! Contact a traveling 8th grader or Ms. Clark to get yours! Sales end 9/23.
Spirit Week: Spirit week starts Septemeber 19th. Students MUST be in dress code if they are not participating in spirit week. Monday: PJ Day; Tuesday: Sports Day; Wednesday: Cultural Day; Thursday: Throwback Day; Friday: Glow in the Dark Day.
Fundraiser Crazy Popsicle Stand: Student Government will be selling popsicles after school in the quad for 25 cents each on September 22 from 1-1:30pm. This will help raise money for school-wide events.
Glow In The Dark Dance: Our first dance of the year is on Friday September 23. The “Glow in the Dark” dance will be from 3:30-5:30 pm. Students MUST be picked up at 5:30. Tickets will be sold at lunch for $3 during the week and $5 at the door. If students are not going to the dance they must leave campus or be in BASE.
