A Note from our Principals ~
Conference week and the Fall Book Fair were a SUCCESS!
Thank you for taking the time to come out and meet with your child's teacher last week. We enjoyed seeing so many new and familiar faces throughout the week, along with all the smiles that came from shopping the book fair!
We also wanted to thank all of our parent volunteers who help Mrs. Parker make the book fair successful. 2,044 books were sold which crushed our goal of 1500. Our sales totaled over $8,700 and earned the library a total of o$3,677.30 in Scholastic dollars to purchase books for our library. Way to go Timberbeasts!
Parking Lot Reminders
Parking Lot Reminders
Did you know the number one reason for bus delays is traffic? You can help reduce the number of cars on the road and save yourself some time by having your child(ren) ride the bus. It’s the safest way to transport students to and from school, and they get extra time with their friends!
If you need to provide your own transportation, please see these reminders from our Student and Family Handbook. Essential procedures for all vehicles entering the school site drop-off and pick-up zone include:
All cars need to be off Wagner Road while waiting in line for car drop-off/pick up. Do NOT block driveways of our neighbors.
Parents need to remain in the car.
Students should exit and enter from the curbside.
Pull as far forward as possible within the designated zone. This will allow for cars to get through the zone in a more timely manner.
Only drop your student off in full sight of the supervisor.
No parking in the bus loading zone for drop-off or pick-up.
Please do not use your cell phones or smoke while in the school traffic zone.
Yield to side traffic and slowly exit the parking lot as it is also a bus zone.
We ask that all drivers and pedestrians be extremely careful on school grounds at all times! Please be extra careful when driving on campus! Following these simple rules will set a good example for our children and help to ensure everyone’s safety.
