READING PALS

Do you have one hour a week to change the life of a child or know someone who does? Reading Pals is starting on campus here at Marigold and we are looking for volunteers. One hour a week can make a world of difference in a child's future. All it takes is you sitting with a student one-on-one working together through a very simple curriculum. We especially need help Tuesdays, 12-2 pm. If interested, sign up at: readingpalschico.org/volunteer/ or call (530) 588-0119.

CLASSROOM INTERRUPTIONS STRONGLY DISCOURAGED

Academic time is a protected time at Marigold so classroom interruptions are strongly discouraged. We realize an urgent message may need to be delivered to a student on occasion. However, we encourage parents and students to work together before school to make sure the student leaves home with their backpack, homework, lunch, band instrument, etc.

THANK YOU for your help and cooperation.
