what is a qr code?
In 1994, DENSO WAVE (then a division of DENSO CORPORATION) announced the release of its QR Code. The QR in the name stands for quick response. (http://www.qrcode.com/en/history/)
It's a quick way to get a person with a mobile device to a resource on the internet (you must know the website address).

There are two parts to using QR codes:
Part 1: Create Them
There are basically two methods for creating a QR code:
A) use a website
B) use a Chrome extension
In order to use either of these sites, you must first find the web page (link) you want to direct the person who scans the QR code.
Part 2: Scan Them
You can make all the QR codes you want, but if the other person doesn't have a QR scanner/reader, then it's all pointless. You might include a QR scanner suggestion on your flyers.
