Notes from Dr. Sullivan
Halloween Costume Guidelines - Students will be allowed to bring costumes for the Halloween parties and the costume parade on October 29th. As you are thinking about costumes please follow these guidelines.
Costumes should be age appropriate, no weapons, no fake blood. Questions about costumes may be directed to Dr. Sullivan before the parties. On the day of the parade, questionable costumes will be sent to the office and phone calls made home.
No face makeup will be used for the school parade. It is uncomfortable and disruptive to wear all day. Students will not be allowed to put on face paint or hairspray at school.
We do not have enough restroom space for all students to change into their costume in the privacy of a restroom. Students should be able to put their costume on in their classrooms.
Parent/Teacher conference information
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday & Tuesday, October 11 & 12, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, October 13, from 8:00am to 11:00am. Each appointment slot will be for 15 minutes.
Again, we will be using "Pick-A-Time" - an online scheduling system that allows parents to set up their own conference time. Instructions are attached. The program is live now, but will close on Tuesday night, October 5, at 11:59 p.m. for parent scheduling.
Here is the link that will take you straight to the online scheduler!
If you have any questions or problems, please call the school office at 402-715-8360 for assistance.
Online (Zoom) conferences will be available by contacting your teacher directly. Please schedule your appointment on Pick-A-Time prior to contacting your teacher to alert him/her of your preference. If you do not prearrange an online conference, it will be assumed that you will come to Neihardt for an in-person conference.
