This Week's Happenings

We've had a tough couple of weeks. I want to say thank you to everyone for pulling together and supporting each other through this time.

Nehemiah was happy to be back at school today, and Trish is doing whatever she can to ease his transition back into the classroom. Stephanie came this morning in case he or Trish needed support. She will be back next week to assist with Peyton's return to school.

Sunshine Committee sent flowers to the funeral today, along with a Dream Light toy that Peyton can hold on to if she wants. Trish is giving Nehemiah the same toy today. We are also looking into memory necklaces for both moms and Peyton.

Family Night

For our November Family Night, the Conscious Discipline Committee thought up some great ideas to help parents incorporate CD at home. It would be great to have one or two other activities as well, to help draw people in. STEAM in prek would be a great one - I will send out some ideas for that. It would also be great to do something with literacy and pre-reading skills. Let me know if you have any other ideas! We can put some people together and start planning!
