Wednesday 5/24/23 - 3:00 - 3:30 pm - Graduation Band rehearsal. All band students who are not seniors need to be at this rehearsal.

Thursday 5/25/23 - 11:30 am - 12:00 pm - Graduation Band rehearsal. All band students who are not seniors need to be at this rehearsal.

Friday 5/26/23 - Graduation Day - Schedule Below

6:30 pm - 2023-2024 Leadership team arrive at the stadium to set up the chairs and stands

7:00 pm - seated and ready to warm-up/final practice for graduation

8:00 pm - Graduation begins.

10:00 pm - Graduation is concluded we will need all students to help move the chairs and stands to the band trailer. We will appreciate any students who can come to the HS and help unload equipment after the graduation ceremony.

Students can wear concert black or nice dress clothes that would be appropriate for school.

More details will be explained at the graduation practices this week.

New Leadership Team Meeting

We will have a Leadership Team meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 7:15 in the morning in the ensemble room. Please plan to be there if you are on the Leadership Team for next year.

UIL State Solo & Ensemble

State Solo & Ensemble happening on Monday, May 29, 2023. Students who qualified for State Solo & Ensemble need to be reviewing their solos. This is our travel itinerary for Monday, May 29, 2023. All of our events are in the afternoon so we will not be staying overnight. We will travel down and back on Monday. We will eat together for both of our meals so you will not need money for food unless you want to buy snacks on the trip or at Hendrickson HS.

7:30 am - Load

8:00 am - Depart

We will make one stop on the way down.

11:30 am - Lunch in Pflugerville

12:30 pm - Arrive at Hendrickson HS

1:20 pm - First Event Happens

5:20 pm - Final Performance

6:00 pm - Dinner in Pflugerville

7:00 pm - Depart for Springtown

10:30 pm - Arrive at SHS

Graduation

All 9th - 11th-grade band students will perform as part of the graduation band on Friday, May 26, 2023. Seniors we invite you to have someone bring your instrument to the graduation band for you and you can come and play the School Song with us one last time at the end of the graduation ceremony. They will allow time for the Seniors to move over to the band and back, you will not miss anything.

The school board has approved the school calendar for next year. The dates below will be our summer band schedule. We will put out a more detailed calendar a little later this week.

Summer (June) Mini-Camp & Band Registration 5/31 - 6/2 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm each day. (Color Guard times will vary for these dates and are listed in the guard section of the newsletter)

Band Registration 6/1 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm

Band Registration 6/2 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm

Drumline & Guard Camp will be 7/10 - 7/14.

Summer Band will be from 7/24 - 8/11.

The full summer band schedule will be available at Band Registration and will be sent out to all students via Remind.

Thank you for a great year! We are chilling in class this week. If you haven’t finished your skills assessment you will do that this week.
